Layout & Scale are approximate, and will vary depending on Camp location and adjacent roads.
A KEY concern is to have at least one frontage of 75 ft or greater on a high foot traffic road - last 3 years we fronted on centercircle (Esplanade). The reason is that Picasso Camp depends on "drop in" foot traffic to paint the 16' by 8' canvas, the smaller canvas catering to kids and the "Poet's Annex' where people add poetry.
Theme for camp this year will be tied to the "Hopes and Fears" theme of the festival --- signage will encourage all participants to decorate the canvas with related art work.
We will utilize black lights over 1 or both canvasses for additional painting opportunities.
Travel trailer, utilized for transporting building materials, and 1 large truck -- with all be decorated with canvasses from past Burning Man Picasso Camps to minimize visual impact.
